Replacing Excel with a scalable product for complex analysis
Overview
Modelium is a web application built to support financial analysis and portfolio management for renewable energy projects. The product was created to replace complex Excel-based workflows that were time-consuming, error-prone, and difficult to scale. Users needed a way to manage large amounts of financial data, track key metrics, and collaborate with their teams without relying on fragile spreadsheets.
My role was to translate an existing Excel model into a usable, scalable web experience. I focused on simplifying data input and designing interfaces that allowed users to understand and manage projects independently. The result was a product that reduced manual work, supported collaboration, and made complex analysis accessible without sacrificing depth.
