Making a complex financial product understandable
Overview
Evorest is a Swiss fintech product that allows tenants to invest their rental deposits instead of locking them away in traditional accounts. The platform serves two very different audiences — tenants with little to no investment experience, and property managers who need clarity, control, and security when managing deposits at scale. The core challenge was making a complex financial concept feel understandable and trustworthy for both sides.
I joined the project to audit and rethink the existing UX and UI concepts for both the Tenant and Property Manager apps. My work focused on identifying usability gaps, restructuring the information architecture, and simplifying key flows through heuristic evaluation. The outcome was a redesigned experience delivered as fully interactive prototypes, helping align the product’s interface with its underlying promise and supporting its launch to real users.
